Full Day Organizational Development Planning Session
What this product is about
A structured, 10-hour facilitated planning day designed for leadership teams and cross-functional groups to tackle strategic priorities, complex challenges, and organizational development objectives that require deep insight and assessment.
Ideal for monthly or quarterly planning cadences when teams need to align on goals, resolve persistent issues, re-evaluate priorities, and produce clear, actionable plans with accountability.
Purpose: turn complex problems and competing priorities into a shared understanding, prioritized initiatives, and a concrete roadmap with owners, timelines, and success metrics.
What it’s made of (components)
Pre-planning (remote; conducted before the full day)
Intake survey for participants to identify topics, pain points, and desired outcomes.
One-on-one or small-group interviews with key stakeholders to surface context and hidden constraints.
Agenda co-design: facilitator consolidates inputs and prepares a customized agenda, prep materials, and data packs.
Core full-day workshop (10 total contact hours including pre- and post-activities)
Opening alignment and context-setting
Diagnostic sessions: root-cause analysis, data review, and systems mapping
Focused deep-dive breakout sessions on prioritized challenges
Strategy and options generation: ideation, scenario planning, and trade-off analysis
Action planning: assigned owners, milestones, resource needs, and KPIs
Risk assessment and contingency planning
Commitment session: finalize accountabilities, communication plan, and next check-in cadence
Recap and deliverables (post-day)
Detailed session report summarizing findings, decisions, and the prioritized roadmap
Action tracker with owners, deadlines, and metrics
Follow-up debrief with facilitator to adjust plans based on emerging information
Optional coaching or follow-up sessions at the next monthly/quarterly checkpoint
Coaching may be in-person in the Dallas area or via Google Meet if out of the Dallas area. Travel for in-person meetings outside of Dallas can be arranged but will incur an additional 1-hour session charge plus travel costs and will be invoiced separately.
